Today will be a much warmer day for some of us as a ridge of high pressure builds in. We have a weak disturance moving through, but all that will do is create a partly to mostly cloudy day with mid to high clouds. Forecast high temperatures will reach the upper 70s to low 80s.

Sunday is looking even better if you love sunshine and even warmer weather. Forecast highs will reach the low 80s for most of us.
While we are under the influence of high pressure, the west coast will be under low pressure. The battle zone between these two pressure areas will produce severe weather in the Central US for the next two days. Large hail, damaging wind and tornadoes are all possible in the severe risk areas.
The Climate Prediction Center is forecasting above average temperatures as we round out the month of April and start the month of May.
Plus, it looks to trend a bit drier as well.
