The cold arctic air mass continues to linger with a few disturbances that move through this next week.

THE BIG STORY

A deep trough continues to hang strong across the eastern United States, bringing in the coldest air of the season! This will also bring a few disturbances that may bring light mountain snow or even some light valley showers.

TODAY’S FORECAST

We start the day off cold under mostly cloudy skies as a weak, upper level disturbance swings through. That will bring some flurries to light snow in the mountains, but no travel issues expected.
The clouds will clear some through the day, but it stays cold. Highs reach the upper 30s to low 40s.
