TODAY’S FORECAST
Happy Sunday!
We start the day off with stormy conditions as a low pressure and cold front move through the area. These showers won’t be with us all day. Actually, the showers will continue to fade through noon today. This afternoon we’ll see a few isolated showers as this whole storm winds down for us in East Tennessee.
It definitely has brought us some very beneficial rain. Some of us have picked up over one inch. This is great new considering the drought conditions continue to expand.
Behind this front, the wind will pick up and it will be gusty. The National Weather Service has issued a WIND ADVISORY and a HIGH WIND WARNING through the early afternoon.
If you have evening plans tonight, it will be damp, but really rain free and mild with temps in the 50s.

THE REST OF THE STORY
We will be tracking another wave from late Monday through Wednesday and again on Friday into Saturday. These will bring reinforced shots of colder Canadian air to the southeast. Temperatures go from the 50s and 60s back to the 30s and 40s. With that said, we’ll also squeeze out a little moisture to produce some light mountain snow showers. As of now, it doesn’t appear to be much.
