High pressure continues to hang strong across the southeastern U.S. As it breaks down, a few disturbances will begin to roll our way.These disturbances wil bring us rainfall. Now, we stay dry today and Christmas Day. But, Thursday through the weekend those rain chances ramp up. As it stands right now, we could see anywhere from 1″ to 2″ by Sunday night. Benenficial rain no doubt as the extreme drought has started to expand. This rain will make for some tough travel conditions for family heading back home after the Holiday’s.
