THE BIG STORY

High pressure begins to break down as our next cold front approaches. That next front will bring us some light rain and much colder air.

I will post a lot more on social media. Please be sure to like and follow @MikeWitcherTV on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. Along with @ETNweather on Facebook.

TODAY’S FORECAST

We start the day off with some sunshine, but the clouds will be increasing through the day as our cold front moves our way. The wind will pick up a bit, becoming breezy. It will be a great day for traveling, unless you’re traveling into the Northeast. We’ll be seeing rain and snow there. But, if you are staying around town, it will be great traveling weather.
Expect showers after sundown and through Thanksgiving morning.

ENJOY THE DAY!

BUT IT DOESN’T STOP THERE

THE REST OF THE STORY

Our Thanksgiving cold front will bring our temperatures down. Rainfall amounts will be around 1/2″ or less. We start the day off with temps in the 50s, but expect falling afternoon temperatures as colder and drier air moves in. Afternoon temperatures will be in the 40s with overcast skies.
As we round out the week, sunshine returns, but colder air moves in. Highs will stay in the 40s through the weekend. But lows will be in the teens and 20s. The coldest air of the season!
Another wave moves through Saturday into Sunday, bringing some light snow showers across the mountains of East Tennessee and North Carolina.
