THE BIG STORY

I don’t know about you, but I am loving this fall weather!
I hope you have loved it as much as me.
However, this warm & dry weather pattern continues through the week and into next weekend.

I will post a lot more on social media. Please be sure to like and follow @MikeWitcherTV on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. Along with @ETNweather on Facebook.

TODAY’S FORECAST

Happy Monday! I sure hope you enjoyed the weekned! It was gorgous!
That warm weather trend continues through the day today. Remember, a ridge of high pressure continues to dominate the weather pattern. That means we’ll continue to see above average temperatures and dry weather.
We started the morning off a few degrees warmer than Sunday morning, but still chilly.
Lunch time temps will climb to the mid 60s, which will make for a perfect lunch hour to take a stroll around the office building or grab lunch with a coworker.
Into the afternoon, expect abundant sunshine and warmer than average weather. Highs will top out in the mid to upper 70s.
If you have evening plans, enjoy because it will feel great before the sun sets, but you’ll need that light jacket after sundown.
Have a great day!

BUT IT DOESN’T STOP THERE

THE REST OF THE STORY

The ridge of high pressure will dominate our weather through the middle part of the workweek. Then, a cold front will swing through on Wednesday. It’s a dry cold front. Don’t expect any rainfall with this front. However, it will bring our temperatures down to those seasonal averages for two days before another ridge builds back in, giving us above average temperatures, yet again into the weekend.
At this point of the game, we need some rain or the drought will continue to worsen.

A LOOK AHEAD

As mentioned above, we are looking at high pressure and above average temperatures as we round out October and start November! We’re also likely to be trending on the drier side. Not necessarily great news as the drought will likely build back in and realize we are in fire season.
