TODAY’S FORECAST

Happy Monday!

Today will be a little warmer than Sunday, but the dew points will stay in the 40s. That means relative humidity will be very low this afternoon, making it feel great. Highs will be in the low to mid 80s.
We have some smoke in the air from wild fires on the west coast, bringing us the hazy sunshine.
If you have outdoor plans this evening, grab a light jacket if you’ll be out and about past sunset.

LOOKING AHEAD

High pressure builds back in through the middle part of the week. That means highs will warm to above average. The humidity will pick back up through the week as a southerly flow takes shape.
We are tracking a tropical system in the Gulf of Mexico. This looks to move up the Mississippi river valley through the week. Depending on the track of this system, depends on how much rain we will see. As it stands now, expect rain to increase late Thursday, but will pick up Friday and linger through the weekend.
Make sure to check back in later this week.
