TODAY’S FORECAST

Another amazing day today with warm & muggy conditions. Highs will be in the 90s with a heat index near 100°. The heat stress will be moderate to high in the valley.
We do have a chance for a few showers. There’s an upper level disturbance that will move in from the west. This will spark off a few showers along the Cumberland Plateau. Plus, some moisture from Tropical Storm Debby will throw a chance for a few showers in Upper East Tennessee.

LOOKING AHEAD

As we wrap up the workweek we will be tracking the remnants of Tropical Storm Debby. Plus a cold front will be swinging through on Friday morning.
This front will bring a chance for a few spotty showers on Friday, but more importantly, it will bring a little taste of fall.
High temperatures will still be in the 90s on Friday, but highs over the weekend will be in the low to mid 80s, below average. Plus, the humidity will be taken away, so it will give us a little taste of fall.
If you need to mow or do any outdoor work, it will feel great!
And, it looks like this pattern sticks with us as we start next week.
