We finally got some much needed rain around the East Tennessee.

Today will be a fantastic summer day. We start the morning with some patchy dense fog thanks to the rain we saw yesterday. The fog burns off through the late morning hours. Then we’ll see some mid to high clouds drift in through the day. Expect plenty of sunshine and warm temperatures. Highs reach the upper 80s to low 90s, but the heat index will still reach the mid 90s in many places.
Have a great day!

The humidity will build more into our Sunday. That will lead to heat index values pushing the upper 90s to low 100s for much of the area.

THE TROPICS
Tropical Storm Beryl continues to curve northward. That means it looks like it will hit south Texas over the next few days. That moisture from Beryl willl continue to curve north through the Mississippi River Valley and eventually into the Tennessee Valley.
