Today will be a little hotter than Saturday with highs in the mid to upper 90s to low 100s. Plus, the heat index will be pushing the low 100s in many areas. That will lead to a little more heat stress today, which is the combination of heat, humidity and direct sunlight!

LOOKING AHEAD
That heat and humidity will continue to climb through about Wednesday timeframe. Then a cold front will swing into the area, bringing us much needed rain, plus falling tempeatures back to those seasonal averages.
With all that said, Monday through Wednesday will be extremely hot. The heat will be near records with a heat index over 100 degrees. If you are in the direct sunlight, that will put extra stress on the body.
Play it safe if you are going to be outdoors for an extended amount of time.
