TODAY’S FORECAST

Have a great Sunday!

Today, we start an active wet, weather pattern. We have an upper level disturbance moving in. With a very moist atmosphere and available moisture, we will see very efficient rain producers. That’s why the Weather Prediction Center has put East Tennessee under a level one and two risk for localized flooding and flash flooding concerns.
High temperatures will reach the mid to upper 80s, but that heat index will be pushing close to 100 degrees.

Remember to track the rain with the eastTNweather Interactive Radar giving you, current, past and future radar of two hours.

LOOKING AHEAD

This pattern will stick with us again on Monday and Tuesday. We have elevated concerns for localized flooding and flash flooding. Plus, the Storm Prediction Center has us under a level one risk for isolated strong to severe storms on Tuesday.
The heat will build this week as well. With dew points in the low to mid 70s, very tropical like, the heat index will be back to near HEAT ADVISORY criteria.
