Today will be the hottest and most humid day over the next 7 days. High pressure is anchored in the southeast with an approaching cold front. That will spill in the humidity. Combine that with an upper level ridge of high pressure and the heat will be even more. Near record high temperatures expected with heat indices into the low 100s.

Have a safe 4th of July!

The humidity will be with us again on Friday. But, a cold front will bring in much needed rain. There is a chance for some isolated strong to severe storms during the afternoon on Friday.
