TODAY’S FORECAST

We start the day with light to moderate showers. These will be with us for the first half of the day, but the second half looks to be a bit drier.

High temperatures will reach the low to mid 80, but that heat index will be pushing the upper 80s to near 90.
If you want to get out and take an after dinner walk, this evening will be perfect & muggy for that.

LOOKING AHEAD

Friday and Saturday will trend a little drier for most of us as we lose a little moisture with no major disturbances. 
However, with that said, we will see some light showers Friday mainly south of I-40. Saturday we could see a few higher elevation showers and storms, but that should be about it. 

Then, Sunday through Tuesday, a bit more of an active weather pattern sets back up. That will bring us better chances for showers and storms with locally heavy rainfall likely. We’ll have to watch for isolated flooding concerns, especially if you’ve already received a lot of rain over the past seven days.
