TODAY’S FORECAST
A river of moisture will continue to stream through from Mississippi and the Gulf of Mexico, through the Appalachian region into the Mid-Atlantic. With some upper level disturbances swinging through, that will bring more rain chances to the area.
The showers and clouds will bring our high temperatures down to below average again, in the low to mid 80s.
Remember to track the rain with the eastTNweather Interactive Radar giving you, current, past and future radar of two hours.

LOOKING AHEAD
We are tracking that river of moisture streaming from the southwest to the northeast. As upper level disturbacnes roll through, that will bring the showers and storms to East Tennesse and much of the region.
A cold front will swing through Thursday into Friday. Unfortunatelly, the humidity doesn’t drop much behind the front.
High tempeatures return to those seasonal averages through the weekend and into next week.
With high humidity in place, that will help to push the heat index back into the low to mid 90s.
