The Storm Prediction Center has issued a level 1 risk for isolated strong to severe storms Saturday and Sunday as a cold front swings into the area.
Take a look at the heat index values through the weekend into the start of July. We will be experience heat indices in the mid to upper 90s to low 100s. But, on Monday, July 1st, a cold front will bring drier air that will shut down those extreme temperatures.
