We will be heating right back up today with highs in the low to mid 90s. The air is still relatively dry, so not too much of a heat index today. Afternoon fair weather cumulus clouds will be developing, but we should stay rain free. If we see anything, it’ll likely be in the mountains of East Tennessee and North Carolina.

LOOKING AHEAD
A ridge of high pressure in the upper parts of the atmosphere will continue to drift westward. That will eventuallly put us in a more favorable flow for disturbances to move in bringing us the chance for some showers and storms. Plus, a cold front on Monday will help elevate those chances.
