Good morning!
A dying Mesoscale Convective System (MCS) moves through for the first half of the day. Then a cold front will move through this afternoon. That could spark off a few more showers and thunderstorms. The Storm Prediction Center has us under a level 1 risk for isolated strong to severe storms. At this point of the game, I don’t think we will see much in the way of severe, but stronger storms are possible with the passage of the cold front.
ENJOY!
LOOKING AHEAD
We start the workweek off with much more comfortable weather. The humidity will drop Monday and Tuesday with high temperatures in the upper 70s to low 80s.
Enjoy it because the real summer heat begins to build toward the end of the week.
High temperatures will warm to the upper 80s to low 90s. But, you factor in dew points in the upper 60s, heat indices will be pushing the mid 90s.
Make sure to check back in, stay weather alert and have those notifications turned on with the eastTNweather app.
