What a perfect weekend ahead. If you want to get out to the lakes or the pool, enjoy, but realize the UV index will be on the high side. That’s sunburn city. We’re not looking at any chances for showers and storms until Sunday night into Monday morning as a cold front swings in from the west. It will bring much needed rain.

A ridge of high pressure is off to our west. That puts us in a more favorable location for disturbances to move back through the area, meaning a better chance for showers and storms, but much needed rain.
