We’re back at it today with a wash, rinse & repeat forecast.
The heat and humidity with be with us this afternoon with a heat index pushing the upper 90s to low 100s.
There is a chance for a few afternoon thunderstorms, mainly in the mountains and the plateau along with upper East Tennessee.
Locally heavy rainfall with some gusty wind possible with any of the storms.

High pressure will hang strong over the next 5 to 7 days. This will bring us the continued hot weather. One good thing is the humidity will drop a little bit mid to late week. While, it will be hot, at least it won’t be as oppressive.
