Finally some much needed rain fell around East Tennessee.
Through the day today, we start off cloudy with some lingering showers. They won’t last all day. From sunrise through Noon, the clouds stick around but the rain fades. From Noon to 3pm, we should start to see some hit and miss sunshine. And then from 3pm – sundown, we should start to see a lot more sunshine return.
Because of the clouds, the temperatures will stay on the cooler side, more average, if you will.
It’s short lived though as a ridge of high pressure builds back in, leaving us with more heat and humidity through the weekend.
