Good morning!
Today will be just like Monday. We start off quiet & mild, but it will warm up quickly through the day. Highs temperatures will be back into the mid to upper 80s with dew points in the 60s. That will make it feel much hotter. There is a chance for an isolated afternoon shower or thunderstorm, mainly in the Smoky Mountains or along the Cumberland Plateau.
ENJOY!
LOOKING AHEAD
I’m sorry to tell you that we have more rain on the way beginning Friday. An unorganized area of low pressure will spill in these showers starting Friday morning. It looks to be a rather soggy start to our Friday, but the rain may not last all day long. Most of the model guidance is showing a break from the rain Friday afternon and evening. With that said, as the low pressure swings to our south, it will continue to bring us showers on Saturday. I don’t think it will be an all day washout, but do expect rain. Oh, and we have a chance for a couple of strong storms late Friday night into early Saturday morning. The Storm Prediction Center has put us in a level 1 risk for isolated storng to severe storms.
THE STORM PREDICTION CENTER
has issued a risk for strong to severe storms west of us Wednesday into Thursday. But, notice the rain chances do increase for us through the weekend.
