Good morning and happy Friday!

An unsettled weather pattern will continue through the day. We start the day off with showers, but then isolated afternoon showers and storms will develop. They will produce locally heavy rain and the possibility of pea size hail. But, no severe weather threat is expected.

We will see a lull in this activity overnight tonight before our next disturbance rolls through East Tennessee. This will bring more showers and storms Saturday. We will start off with some showers before thunderstorms develop through the afternoon and early evening. Locally heavy rainfall with some hail and gusty wind. But, no organized severe weather threat is expected.

We’ve been talking about it for a few days now, but it looks like a trough will swing in as we wrap up next week. This will bring showers and storms Friday into Saturday. But, it will also bring the possibility of cooler than average temperatures.
