Good morning!
Have a great Sunday. It’s going to be a great day with partly cloudy skies. There is a chance for an isolated afternoon thunderstorm, mainly across the higher elevations. If and whenn they develop, they will be slow moving and produce locally heavy rain.
It’s going to be an active weather pattern this week as several waves of energy move into the area. We will be watching for a complex of storms Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. This could produce strong to severe storms through the morning commute on Wednesday.
So stay on top of the weather this week.
STORM PREDICTION CENTER OUTLOOKS
There will continue to be a risk for severe storms across the United States and that does include us here in East Tennessee.
Another storm will be moving in as we round out this next week. This will bring us showers and locally heavy rainfall, but it will also bring us much cooler weather next weekend.
The Climate Prediction Center is forecasting above average temperatures as we round out the month of April and start the month of May.
And those rain chances may be a bit more elevated for the first couple weeks of May.
