Today will be a much warmer day for some of us as a ridge of high pressure builds in. We’ll have all day sunshine with a bit of a breeze through the day.

While we are under the influence of high pressure, the west coast will be under low pressure. The battle zone between these two pressure areas will produce severe weather in the Central US for the next three days. Large hail, damaging wind and tornadoes are all possible in the severe risk areas.
The Climate Prediction Center is forecasting above average temperatures as we round out the month of April and start the month of May.
And those rain chances may be a bit more elevated for the first couple weeks of May.
