WARM & BREEZY TODAY – HIGH FIRE DANGER ALERT
HAPPY FRIDAY!
Get ready for a warm and breezy day ahead, but with gusty winds and dry conditions, fire danger is elevated across the region. Outdoor burning is strongly discouraged, as fires could spread quickly. If you’re spending time outside, be extra cautious!
We start the day off with a gorgous sunrise and temperatures in the 40s, 50s and some pockets of 60s. It will be a rapid warm up with lunch time temperatures in the 60s and 70s. Afternoon high temperatures climb to the 70s and 80s. A storm in Texas will throw mid to high clouds our way through the day, giving us a filter sunshine look and some high jet contrails. If you have plans to host for the University of Tennessee basketball game tonight, it will be very nice to be outside if you have a great patio as temperatures will stay in the 60s.
Enjoy the day and GO VOLS!

A 50/50 WEEKEND: SATURDAY IS THE BEST DAY
A 50/50 Weekend: Saturday is the Best Day
Looking ahead, the weekend will be a tale of two halves:
✔️ Saturday: The best day to enjoy the outdoors! Expect mild temperatures, sunshine, and dry conditions. A perfect day for any weekend plans.
✔️ Sunday: Changes arrive as a storm system moves in, bringing showers and thunderstorms by the afternoon and evening.

OUR NEXT TROUGH BRINGS STORMS, SOME COULD BE SEVERE
Okay, here we go again!
Our next storm system arrives late Sunday into early Monday. It could be a rough start during the morning commute.
A strong cold front will swing out of the Great Plains and move through our area into early Monday morning. All modes of severe weather are on the table with damaging wind being the main threat!
