ARCTIC AIR IS NO FUN
A brutally cold start to our Friday. The National Weather Service has a COLD WEATHER ADVISORY in effect until 10am. Temperatures started off in the single digits and teens with even colder wind chills.
Bundle Up!
This afternoon we at least warm to above freezing. So yes, the snow will continue to melt away, whcih of course will refreeze tonight with black ice forming Saturday morning.
Highs today reach the mid to upper 30s, which is still 15 degrees below average for this time of the year.
If you have evening plans, well, temps drop back to the 20s and 30s.
Have a great day!

THE BIG PICTURE
The next few days are going to be great! Sunshine and a gradual warming trend. But, looking ahead into the middle and end of next week, another trough looks to dig and may bring us some light rain and snow to the area. It’s not a big storm.

ABOVE AND BEYOND THE 7 DAY FORECAST
Looking past the 7 Day Forecast, the Climate Prediction Center has strong signals of below average temperatures with the possibility of above average precipitation.
