Morning dense fog & freezing fog but abundant sunshine & warmer weather returns. Enjoy it before the rain moves back in next week.

After morning dense fog and some freezing fog thanks to some temperatures dipping to the low 30s. The fog will lift quickly with abundant sunshine this afternoon. High temperatures will be much warmer and nearly 10-15 degrees above average for this time of the year. This will make for perfect outdoor activity weather.

In the upper parts of the atmosphere we will see relatively zonal flow. That means there won’t be any major storms heading our way in the short term. And, high temperatures will stay in the upper 60s to low 70s. With that said, we will be tracking a more unsettled weather pattern starting Wednesday and lasting through next weekend. At this point in the game, expect 1/2″ to 1″ of rainfall. Whcih is much needed considering we are still in a drought.
