FINALLY A GREAT WEEKEND AHEAD
Happy Saturday!
It’s another chilly start to the day with temperatures in the teens and 20s. However, that is warmer than yesterday by nearly 10-15 degrees. So, at least we have that going for us. Today will be sunny for the first half of the day. But, as we get into the afternoon, a batch of clouds will drift through as an upper level wave slides through. The atmosphere is so dry in the low levels, I would imagine we see some virga today. That’s rain evaporating before it reaches the surface of the earth. I can create some cool looking clouds as the moisture pulls the clouds down. So yes, we become mostly cloudy to overcast for the second part of the day.
Lunch time temps will climb to the 30s and 40s with afternoon highs back closer to those seasonal averages.
If you have evening plans, plan on the winter coats as temps drop back to the 20s and 30s..
Enjoy your day!

THE BIG PICTURE
Finally we have some quiet weather heading our way this weekend and through the middle part of next week. As we get into our Wednesday and Thursday, another wave of energy moves our way. At this point in time it looks like it will produce light rain into our Thursday. But, Thursday night into Friday, we could see some light snow developing in the Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee and North Carolina.
STAY TUNED!
