A quiet weather pattern sets up through Wednesday, but then another cold front moves through.

It’s going to be a beautiful day! There is a storm to our south along the Gulf. The rain will stay to our south, but this storm will throw some high clouds our way. The thickest clouds will be south of I-40 in the southern valley. Much more sunshine north of I-40. High pressure is the name of the game which will help to warm our temperatures up a bit more today. Highs reach the upper 40s to low 50s.
It’s a perfect day to get outdoors!

Finally we have some quiet weather heading our way this weekend and through the middle part of next week. As we get into our Wednesday and Thursday, another wave of energy moves our way. At this point in time it looks like it will produce light rain into our Thursday. But, Thursday night into Friday, we could see some light snow developing in the Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee and North Carolina.
