Sunny & quiet today, but a storm is on the way with moderate rainfall to end the week.

We start the morning with some light frost, but nothting like what we saw on Tuesday. Because of a light breeze, morning temperatures are fairly pleasant. Morning temps start in the 30s and 40s. We warm quickly with winds gusting to 25 mph through the lunch hour and into the afternoon. Highs today climb to nearly 10 degrees above average. The evening hours between 6pm and 8pm will be comfortable.

Our next storm system arrives through the day on Thursday, but moreso on Friday morning. 
On Thursday the high clouds will increase becoming overcast. A warm front will slide from south to north and may spark off a few light showers. We’ll dry out Thursday evening. Then, into Friday morning, a cold front swings through. We’re not looking at a severe weather threat, but moderate, much needed rain will fall. The storm wraps up Friday afternoon, leaving us with more sunshine and warm weather for the weekend.
