TODAY’S FORECAST
Another upper level wave is moving through East Tennessee. This is what’s bringing the clouds today. Like the past few days, I still think we could see a flurry or two in the mountains, but I think the valley is just too dry. You may see it on radar, but it won’t likely reach the ground. Because of the clouds, temperatures will be slightly cooler than what we had on Thursday. But, the sunshine returns this weekend along with warmer weather.

THE REST OF THE STORY
Looking ahead into the weekend, a ridge of high pressure builds back in. That will bring us abundant sunshine on Saturday with temperatures climbing back close to those seasonal averages. Ahother disturbance, or rather cold front, will swing through bringing a chance for light rain. It really doesn’t appear we’ll get that much rain. Right now it’s looking like 1/10″ to 1/4″ of rain. Definitely no drought busting rain, but much needed either way.
We will continue to stay at or slightly above average for this time of the year.
ENJOY!
